The origin

Joel Gomez owns Alpha General Construction and founded ABDOREN. Years of estimating work, selling projects, managing people, solving field problems, and carrying responsibility for outcomes revealed how much construction knowledge remains scattered.
Construction has no shortage of advice. What it lacks is an organized record of what people have actually experienced and whether the same conclusions hold beyond one company, one trade, or one successful personality.
Gomez’s studies in psychology and communication introduced questionnaires, interviews, and the discipline of asking the same question in a comparable way. Construction showed why that matters. One person’s experience can reveal a question, but many comparable records and the firsthand explanations behind them are needed to understand where a practice or finding applies.
Those two backgrounds shape ABDOREN. Construction experience identifies questions worth asking. Standardized data, firsthand explanations, interviews, and later outcome checks determine what the broader record supports.
