Privacy policy
Information handled for a defined purpose.
ABDOREN receives detailed contractor and project information. This policy explains what we collect, why we use it, and the boundaries around that use.
Effective July 22, 2026. This policy applies to abdoren.com, ABDOREN inquiries, email subscriptions, and information handled through ABDOREN professional service engagements.
1. Information we collect
We may receive contact details, company information, project locations, project notes, photographs, measurements, plans, estimates, pricing, subcontractor bids, client information, selections, existing company documents, communications, payment and transaction details, and other information you choose to provide. We may also receive limited technical information such as browser type, device type, referring pages, pages visited, and general usage data through website hosting, security, analytics, or similar service providers.
2. How we collect information
We collect information when you email us, request a project review, subscribe to the Contractor Operations Brief, enter into an engagement, upload project records, communicate with ABDOREN, pay an invoice, or otherwise provide information. Certain technical information may be collected automatically when you use the website.
3. How we use information
We use information to respond to inquiries, evaluate project fit, define and perform engagements, prepare and deliver work, process payments, maintain business records, improve our services and website, communicate operational or service information, protect ABDOREN and its clients, and comply with applicable legal obligations.
4. Contractor and project confidentiality
ABDOREN treats contractor, client, project, pricing, subcontractor, and operating information as business information entrusted to us for a defined purpose. We do not use one contractor's confidential pricing or operating information to create another contractor's system. ABDOREN does not contact your homeowner, subcontractors, vendors, employees, or other project participants unless that involvement is specifically authorized.
5. Email subscriptions
When you subscribe to the Contractor Operations Brief, we use the name, email address, company, and role you provide to send ABDOREN insights and understand the professional audience receiving them. Subscription information remains separate from confidential engagement information. You may unsubscribe using a method provided in an email or by contacting us.
6. Service providers and disclosures
We may share information with service providers that support website hosting, email, file storage, payment processing, analytics, security, accounting, and other business operations. They receive information only as reasonably necessary to perform their services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect legal rights or safety, in connection with a business transfer, or with your direction or consent. ABDOREN does not sell personal information for money.
7. Aggregated and de-identified information
ABDOREN may develop general observations, research, or benchmarks from information that has been responsibly aggregated or de-identified. We do not publish client identities, individual pricing, contact information, proprietary documents, or confidential project details. A materially different use of identifiable information requires separate permission.
8. Cookies and analytics
ABDOREN uses Google Analytics on abdoren.com to understand website visits, traffic sources, page use, and performance. Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies and may receive browser and device information, approximate location, referring pages, pages viewed, and interaction data. ABDOREN uses this information to evaluate and improve the website. Analytics is not loaded on ABDOREN's internal preview addresses. You may limit cookies through your browser settings or use Google's available Analytics opt-out tools.
9. Data security
ABDOREN uses reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the information and the way it is handled. No website, email system, file-transfer method, or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. Do not send passwords, payment-card numbers, government identification numbers, medical information, or other highly sensitive personal information unless ABDOREN specifically requests a secure method for a defined purpose.
10. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to evaluate or perform an engagement, maintain business and transaction records, meet legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, protect confidential methods and information, and support legitimate business operations. Retention periods vary according to the type of information and the reason it was collected.
11. Your choices and requests
You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information you submitted, or to withdraw from nonessential marketing communications. Some information may be retained when reasonably required for completed transactions, legal obligations, security, dispute resolution, or other legitimate business purposes. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing a request.
12. Children's privacy
ABDOREN provides business services to contractors and does not knowingly solicit personal information from children. If you believe a child has submitted personal information through this website, contact us so we can evaluate and address the submission.
13. External services and links
