Applied service / customers and project owners

See how contractor proposals differ before you decide.

Proposal Reconciliation places contractor proposals into a common comparison so differences in scope, responsibility, assumptions, exclusions, allowances, and unanswered questions are visible before a customer decides how to proceed.

Why it exists

The lowest total is not always the same scope.

Two proposals can describe the same project using different categories, quantities, allowances, exclusions, assumptions, and responsibility assignments. Comparing only the total price can conceal differences that materially affect the project.

ABDOREN does not decide who should win. The service makes the documents easier to compare and turns the unresolved differences into questions the customer can take back to each contractor.

The deliverables

A common comparison and a clearer list of what still needs an answer.

01

Comparison spreadsheet and PDF

A direct comparison of the supplied proposals using consistent categories.

02

Scope and responsibility gaps

Items that appear absent, unclear, duplicated, excluded, or assigned differently.

03

Contractor clarification packet

A neutral set of questions organized for each contractor.

04

Decision summary

A concise record of material differences, unresolved items, and decisions that still belong to the customer.

What ABDOREN does not decide

The service clarifies the supplied proposals. It does not certify the contractor or the outcome.

ABDOREN does not rank contractors, select a winner, or tell the customer whom to hire. It does not certify that a price is fair, complete, or accurate; verify or certify contractor qualifications; or guarantee workmanship, schedule, communication, solvency, or future performance. A difference or unanswered question is not proof that a contractor made an error or misrepresented the work.

ABDOREN does not contact contractors, negotiate, or request proposal revisions unless that involvement is expressly included in the written engagement.

Initial review

See whether the proposals are a fit for reconciliation.

Begin with basic information only. Do not attach proposals until ABDOREN approves a transfer method.
