Collect less. Separate it. Publish carefully.

Structured research enrollment is currently closed. This page describes the privacy controls for ABDOREN studies. A participant notice and consent specific to each study govern collection.

What may be collected

When enrollment opens, ABDOREN may collect a participant name, company or organization, role, trade, experience, work type, company size and revenue bands, project mix, relevant work geography, verification source, dated consent, and information specific to the study about a decision, cost, timing, process, outcome, open response, and later outcome review. ABDOREN does not request Social Security numbers, birth dates, home addresses, banking information, payment card numbers, or government identification for research.

How records will be separated

Identity and verification records, the key connecting identity to a coded response, coded research records, and approved public release files will be maintained as distinct data layers. Analysis will not require a participant name or company to be attached to the coded answer.

Platform and security disclosure

Before enrollment opens, ABDOREN identifies the collection platform and discloses how identity, verification, coded responses, linkage, access, encryption, backup, retention, and deletion are handled. The system is selected only after privacy, security, operational, and legal review. This notice does not promise a specific platform.

What ordinary platforms still process

Website visits, ordinary email, and public social media activity still pass through those platforms and remain outside a formal study record unless a study notice expressly says otherwise. Do not send a research response or confidential information by ordinary email. Public comments may help identify questions or contributors, but they are not treated as confidential structured research responses.

What may be published

Public releases will use aggregate findings reviewed for identity risk and include the method, exact eligible base, participant composition, limitations, and correction record. ABDOREN will not publish an exact five digit ZIP code, participant file, name, company, contact information, verification source, or identifiable response without separate express permission.

Commercial use without selling identity

With the permissions stated for a study, aggregate findings with identifying details removed may support free resources, paid reports, benchmarks, or commissioned research. Names, company names, contact information, verification sources, linkage keys, and identified participant records are not sold or placed in a public data product. Sponsors do not receive the right to control findings.

Retention and exact geography

Each study notice will disclose the retention and deletion schedule that the selected system can actually enforce. Exact work geography will be converted to the approved reporting category and removed from active analysis records when no longer needed; public releases will use a broader geography unless a study safely supports greater detail.

Withdrawal and data lock

Future contact can stop at any time. A participant may withdraw a linked response until the study data lock disclosed before collection. After information has been irreversibly unlinked or included in published aggregates, removal may no longer be possible.

Research safeguards

Structured collection begins only after the participant notice, privacy notice, retention schedule, selected collection and storage system, access controls, deletion process, and nationwide legal implications have been reviewed.
